1月6日，國(guó)務(wù)院公布，在上海自貿(mào)區(qū)內(nèi)，允許外資企業(yè)從事游戲游藝設(shè)備的生產(chǎn)和銷售，通過(guò)文化主管部門內(nèi)容審查的游戲游藝設(shè)備可面向國(guó)內(nèi)市場(chǎng)銷售。

China's State Council said it has temporarily lifted a ban on selling foreign video game consoles, paving the way for firms like Sony Corp, Microsoft Corp and Nintendo Co Ltd to enter a nearly $14 billion market.
國(guó)務(wù)院宣布臨時(shí)解除對(duì)外國(guó)游戲游藝設(shè)備的銷售禁令，為索尼、微軟及任天堂等公司進(jìn)入中國(guó)市場(chǎng)掃清了道路。中國(guó)游戲機(jī)市場(chǎng)空間接近140億美元。
Video game console字面意思為“視頻游戲控制臺(tái)”，其實(shí)就是我們常說(shuō)的“游戲機(jī)”，簡(jiǎn)稱game console。這種通過(guò)游戲機(jī)輸出畫面和聲音到電視等音視頻設(shè)備上的電子游戲就叫console game（主機(jī)游戲）。目前常見(jiàn)的其他游戲有PC game（電腦游戲）、browser game（網(wǎng)頁(yè)游戲），以及mobile game（移動(dòng)端游戲）。
中國(guó)從2000年開始禁止銷售游戲機(jī)，稱其對(duì)青少年的精神健康（mental health）有不利影響（adverse effect）。但是游戲機(jī)的銷售在黑市（black market）一直存在。此次臨時(shí)解禁（temporary ban-lifting），允許外資企業(yè)（foreign-invested enterprises）在上海自貿(mào)區(qū)（Shanghai pilot free trade zone）內(nèi)生產(chǎn)和銷售游戲機(jī)，通過(guò)文化主管部門內(nèi)容審查（inspection by cultural departments）的設(shè)備可向國(guó)內(nèi)市場(chǎng)銷售。
